Dr. Hayken has been practicing Orthopaedic Surgery in the Community for over 28 years. He graduated from Hofstra University and attended Medical School at Temple University in Philadelphia and was subsequently trained in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania where he had the honor of being Chief Resident.

Dr. Hayken joined BCOS in 1981 following a residency at the University of Pennsylvania where he obtained excellent orthopaedic training across the field of orthpaedics with a heavy concentration in Total Joint Replacement. Since joining BCOS, Dr. Hayken's practice has evolved into primarily Total Joint Replacement and General Orthopaedics. With the technological advancement and growth of Total Hip and Total Knee Replacement, Dr. Hayken's practice has grown due to his continued ongoing dedication to maintaining his state of the art capabilities through further training and experience.

Dr. Hayken routinely performs minimally invasive, Quad Sparing Total Knee Replacement, Partial Knee Replacement and Minimally Invasive Total Hip Replacement. Dr. Hayken is also experienced in complex cases such as Revision Total Knee and Hip procedures and fractures of the hip and knee.

All total joint surgeries are performed at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly, a recognized Center of Excellence in Total Joint Replacement.
